In 2001 Rodney Stone moved into modern air-conditioned premises in the High Street, where we have continued to offer the same friendly and professional eyecare service
When you visit our practice your eyes will be examined by a fully qualified and experienced optical practitioner. We will discuss your individual needs and answer your questions.
There is much more to having an eye examination at our practice than finding out if you need spectacles or contact lenses, we also carry out a range of tests to assess the health of your eyes .
We can even take a digital photograph of the blood vessels at the back of your eyes using special equipment which can help reveal the presence of general health problems such as diabetes and high blood pressure.
Because eye conditions such as glaucoma often develop slowly it is essential to have regular eye examinations as the sooner any problem is detected the better the the chance of sucessful treatment.
